A military calligrapher born in Weihai, Shandong. He has served successively in units including the Shenyang Military Region, the General Office of the Central Military Commission, and the General Logistics Department. Holding the rank of Senior Colonel, he is a Senior Engineer with Professional and Technical Grade 5, enjoying deputy army-level allowances. He is a member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, Beijing Calligraphers Association, and Beijing Dongcheng District Calligraphers Association, as well as the Vice President of Huaxia Dongfang Jie Calligraphy and Painting Academy.

Master of Micro Calligraphy & Virtuoso in Calligraphy and Painting | Guo Yongliang

A native of Heilongjiang Province with the art name Zi Yi, is a disciple of Buddhism and Taoism and known by the artistic title Daoxin Hua. He now resides in Beijing.He is the founder of double-outline micro calligraphy and painting, a member of the Heilongjiang Calligraphers Association, a director of the China Double-Outline Calligraphy Association, and a National First-Class Artist. He studied under the revered master Li Shuqi—hailed as “the preeminent regular script master of the century”—who specialized in flying-white (double-outline) calligraphy.
